The annual Club Presentation Night organised by Club Secretary Sue Mawditt was held at the Priory Hall Much Wenlock on Friday 24th January. A host of club members celebrated the success of the 2024 championship winners as they came forward to be presented with their trophies by Club Chairman Tony Swales.

Tony also read out a message from Club President Don Davies who unfortunately could not attend due to ill health, only the second presentation night he has missed in over 30 years. After the presentations everyone tucked into refreshments prepared by Sue Mawditt and Terry Yates. Competitions Organiser Peter Yates, who is stepping down after 3 years in the role, thanked all members for their support. In particular he thanked Keith Banks, Ivor Moore, Marilyn Fletcher and Dave Arnold for keeping the green and its surrounds in such good condition in spite of the atrocious weather during 2024 and thanked all of the lady members who had provided the excellent catering on competition days. A raffle was organised by Ivor and Barbara Moore which provided useful funds for the club.

The evening concluded with a dastardly quiz conducted by Competitions Secretary Bob Mumford.
