Fun???

It is said that fun is closely allied to frustration and there were heaps of both on the sunny afternoon of Sunday 18th August when the Fun Bowls competition was held at the club.

A record 24 members and guests took part in the event which saw them take on 6 bowling challenges where contestants had to combine a little skill and a lot of luck to score points.

The eventual winners were Jo & Ian Cohen with Sue & Tony Partridge second. The team including 3 generations of the Burr family with Alan, son Robert and granddaughter Evelyn took third place. The big teddy was up for grabs in the prize draw which was won by future Shropshire residents Lorna and Geoff Wills. Well done to all our prizewinners and thanks to all entrants for making it such an enjoyable event.
